While watching Life on Earth last night:

class_worrier: Wasps are evil.
yiskah: I know. But I appreciate their aesthetic.
class_worrier: Like a Nazi uniform?
...
...
...
yiskah: What did you say?
class_worrier: I said, 'like a Nazi uniform'.
yiskah: Oh! I thought you said 'like a Nazi unicorn'.
class_worrier: No wonder you paused for so long.

In other news, it has come to my attention that some of you (uniquefergus) are woefully ignorant about a land that is close to my heart: the magical land of SUDAN. I have chosen to repond to this ignorance in the traditional manner: with the aid of an LJ poll. Answers will be given tomorrow (to give you Americans a chance to answer); NO GOOGLING AND NO OTHERWISE CHEATING, don't think you'll get away with it because I WILL KNOW.

There may be a prize for the winner. Or there may just be the edification of knowing oneself to be well-informed. I haven't decided yet.
