If you were my glasses, where would you be?

(They're not on my head; I've checked.)

Me too! And then I can't find them because I NEED MY GLASSES TO LOOK. Woe.

I did actually! Having come home drunk and gone on some sort of feeding frenzy, they were quite likely locations..

I really should keep them on at all times, or invest in one of those bungee cords that old ladies have.

Where did you last use them? When did you last read something, or watch something on telly?

I sugggested that because various members of my family have left them there and thought they were lost. My father is the main culprit ;-)

Mine were in the gap between the bedside table and the bed. Last week the cat put them in one of my boots. Last time I flew anywhere, they turned up under the seat of the woman sitting six rows behind...

You and [info]fortuneandglory were closest! They were actually just under the bed, where I believe they had been drunkenly knocked from the bedside table.

I have had my PASSPORT turn up several rows behind me on a flight. Now that was scary.

Down the side of the bed, where you knocked them in a semi-conscious clumsy stupor? That's where mine were the last time. I've also spent ages looking for them while they were on my face, and even more memorably, in one of my hands. The shame.

You were very close! (They were under the bed.) I have also looked for my glasses when they were in my hand. It's easily done!

In my experience, they were left on your bed, then somehow got catapulted a ridiculous distance across the room when you sat down and ended up in a pile of magazines.

You were close! They were under the bed, probably having been knocked there from the ebdside table or the bed itself.

Zing, indeed.

I usually find mine are under the bed, or on a highly-patterned darkish surface so I have to fetch someone to 'find' them for me.

You were absolutely right! They were under the bed. I also often lose them on the tablecloth for the living room table, which is highly patterned in dark blue and white.

It is always a possibility, when you lose something. ;) I still have to notify the Central Line lost property staff whenever you come back to London, and I can totally hear them crying on the other end of the 'phone.

No AGAIN!

I have an idea: it involves you, and cunning little lengths of string and elastic tied to things like handbags and glasses and laptops and purses and tied at the other end to YOU!

It is an idea I have considered for myself on many occasions.
